How to edit client contact details

This guide will explain the new feature and walk you through how to update a client's contact details.

๐Ÿ’ก There are a few key things to know about this updated feature:

  • You can add multiple email addresses as well as phone numbers per client

  • You can label the emails and phone numbers and see those labels when sending client communications (e.g. โ€œhomeโ€, "preferred", โ€œcarerโ€, etc.)

  • The email that is listed as first on the list (no matter the label associated) will be the default email address used for communication which you can change by using the drop down menu

  • The email address listed first will be the address used for bulk emailing and is unable to be changed


Step-by-step guide on how to use this feautre:

1. Go to the 'Clients' page on Joy CMS and click on your client ๐Ÿง‘

2. Go to the clients 'Profile' page ๐Ÿ‘‡

3. Scroll down to the 'Client contact details' section

4. Hover over the existing contact details if you would like to duplicate it (the two squares), edit them โœ๏ธ (including changing their label, the pencil) or delete ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ (the bin)

5. Click the '+Add email' or '+Add phone' ๐Ÿ‘‡ to add an additional contact to the client's profile such as carer details or a work phone

6. Select the phone or email label associated with the contact and click the tick button to save โœ”๏ธ or the X to remove โŒ

7. You have now successfully edited the client contact details! ๐ŸŽ‰
