There are two ways that you can create a client case:

1. Accept the client as an inbound referral and create a new case

2. Add a client case directly from a client that already exists

💡 Where is the inbound referrals tab?

The ‘Inbound referrals’ page now exists second from the top on the left-hand side panel. We noticed that this tab is used very frequently so we thought it should move up in the world. 🙂

1️ Method One: Accepting an inbound referral and creating a case

  1. Click on ‘Inbound Referrals’ 👇

  2. Click ‘Open’ 👇 on the far right-hand side of the patient

  3. Click 'Accept' 👇 at the bottom of the page

  4. It will then give you the option to name the Client case you are creating for the patient ✍️

  5. Once accepted you will be given the option to either ‘View Profile' or ‘Add to the clinical record’

  6. You have now created a case! 🎉

2️ Method Two: Adding a client case to an existing client

  1. Go to ‘Clients’

  2. Click on the relevant client 👇

  3. Select ‘+Add a new case' 👇

  4. Add a title and description ✍️ to the client case you are creating

    • Select the details of the case including:
      Staff member

    • Status

    • Client key needs

    • Additional needs

    • Colour

    • Priority

  5. Ensure the clinical record automatically selected is the correct GP Surgery for the patient

  6. Click ‘Save’

  7. You have now added a case to an existing client! 🎉
