📌Note: If you are creating an appointment in the client record and you want it to show in your calendar, you must choose ‘Appointment’ as the record type that you are trying to create. ‘Contact’ and ‘Note’ records will not populate your Joy calendar.
Log into case.thejoyapp.com and click on ‘Clients’ 👇 in the left-hand side menu
From your list of clients click on the one you would like to make an appointment with 👇
Underneath your client's name at the top of their record, choose the ‘Client Record’ tab
Then over to the right-hand side of the screen click on ‘Create’ 👇 and then choose ‘Appointment’ 📅 from the drop-down, do not choose ‘Contact’ as these records do not show in your calendar
At the top of the Appointment Record you can choose to set the appointment as ‘In-person’ or ‘Phone call’ etc.
Once you have filled out your Appointment record with all the information you need, click 'Save' ✅ and it will appear in your upcoming events on the left of the screen, you will see that the ‘Contact’ record looks slightly different to the ‘Appointment Record’
The Appointment Record will also appear in your calendar, the Contact Record will not
This should then show as an appointment in your calendar! 🎉
