๐ Note: Texts are limited to 96 characters, anything longer will be sent as a weblink which will require your clients to click on from their text. It might be worth warning them a weblink is coming if they are less confident with messages like this.
Open the case management system and go to the 'Clients' tab
โSelect the client ๐ง you want to send a text message to
โMake sure the client has a phone number listed in either of these formats: +44 (country code format) or 0 (local format), this will be shown in the far-right corner of the client 'Summary' tab
โSelect the message button ๐ฌ on the right of the client's name
โThis will open up a panel on the right-hand side of the page and will automatically fill in their name and phone number
โCompose your message โ๏ธ, such as "See you tomorrow at your appointment at 10 a.m."
โYou can then choose to 'Save to clinical record' by either ticking or unticking the checkbox โ๏ธ and selecting the correct record (this should be auto-populated already with the client's information)
โYou can then also choose to check or uncheck a box 'Include reply link' โ๏ธ which will give the client the option to respond to your text with a link (you may need to scroll down to see this)
โClick 'Send' when you're ready, the system will ask you to confirm before sending, select 'Yes, send' ๐
โAfter sending, the message will be recorded in the case management system along with the full text of the message
