❗ Error message 1 “User not found”
Error message - “user not found” means your credentials are not stored in Joy correctly.
✔️ Solution: Please use this guide to set up your connection or the video below.
Please note: You will need to do this with each Emis practice.
Please see a video of this process below:
❗ Error message 2 “User does not have access rights to use this function”
Error message 2 “User does not have access rights to use this function” means there is an error with your permissions inside EMIS.
✔️ Solution: If you are confident that your credentials are accurate in Joy, please contact the GP surgery and liaise with the practice manager about ensuring you have the permissions you need inside EMIS. If not please double-check your credentials.
❗ Error message 3 “Patient not found”
Error message 3 “Patient not found” means that the patient’s NHS number OR their First Name, Last Name, and DOB does not perfectly match the information stored inside EMIS.
✔️ Solution: To solve this you can double-check their NHS number and try again. If their NHS number is not available you can edit their First Name, Last Name and DOB to perfectly match the data inside EMIS. You also need to double-check their clinical record and GP surgery match. You will find this information under the patient 'Profile' tab.
Please note: the patient must be actively registered at the EMIS surgery you are connecting them to.
