You see 'Connection Error' when you set up the integration in EMIS
There are numerous reasons this could happen, please follow the steps below which will help resolve this issue:
Solution One: When setting this part up you may have put your ODS code into the Joy connection, instead of EMIS code
Please note that the EMIS code is usually 1 to 5 numbers, whilst the ODS is a letter followed by 5 numbers. If you have entered it incorrectly, ensure you re-enter it correctly.
Solution Two: You may have missed an RBAC code when you created the Joy user within your EMIS
To check this please revisit Creating Joy as a user in EMIS (add link when article is live)
Please make sure the Joy App user has all 9 of those RBAC codes added
In most cases, the B8029 - Managed Detailed Records does not add correctly the first time
If any codes have been missed, ensure you enter them correctly to fix this error.
Solution Three: There is a password error Part 2 of the EMIS integration.
This means the user may not have been given full access.
