π Learning: Client Cases is new functionality in the Joy Case Management System. These new features mean that each client record in Joy can have multiple Cases linked to it. The Cases can be active simultaneously or consecutively. It will improve record keeping, reporting, and better reflect how users actually work with clients.
π§ The new Client homescreen
When you click on a Client from your Client list, you will now see a cleaner, fresher layout. Some items will have moved and some will be brand new.
On the left hand side of the screen you will see a list of all current and past cases. These are laid out as tiles so that we can show you some brief information about the case on this screen.
To the right of the screen you will see a list of upcoming activities for this client, and you can toggle to show past activities.
In the top right you will see some quick launch buttons, some of these you will be familiar with, like the send text, send email and Create new buttons.
β
π‘Tip: To create a new Contact, Appointment, Note or Action for this client, hover your mouse over the Create new button and the usual drop down list will appear.
π The Account button
This is a new feature. It gives you a quick view of key information about your client, and is also where you can add tags and view their medical record.
The Account button is in the top right of the screen. If you click π on the Account button it will open a window from the right hand side of the page.
Scroll down this page and you will see you can:
add tags
copy the Joy Client ID to share with our support team if they are helping you with something
view the client's medical record
βοΈ The Settings button
The new Settings button takes you to a page with all you client's information. From here you can view, copy and edit information about your client, such as address, contact number and next of kin information.
Click π on the Settings button (towards the top right of the window) and you are taken to this screen:
β
On the left hand side you can see a list of the sections; Profile, Next of kin, Cases.
In the centre of the window you can see the details within the section selected. To edit any information click π Edit, and don't forget to Save your changes once finished.
π Viewing a Case
Now that you are using the new Client Cases functionality, some actions that you previously took in the Client screen will have moved and will now be found in the Case section.
β
To find these click π on the Case you want to view.
This will open up a new screen with the information about that case in it.
β
You will see three tabs near the top and to the left of the screen:
π Client record - On the left hand side you will see a list of all activities that you have logged for your client within this Case. If you click π on an activity it will show you the detail of that record in the centre of the screen.
π Wellbeing - You will see a list of any wellbeing trackers you have completed for this client within this Case. Towards the top right of this screen you can click on Create form π to add a new wellbeing tracker entry, or you can click on the 3 little dots button for more options such as requesting a follow up response to an existing wellbeing tracker.
π© Services - You will see a list of all the services you have referred or signposted this client to during this Case. Towards the top right of the screen you can click on the Refer or Signpost buttons π to access the Joy Marketplace to make onward referrals and signpost for this client.
That covers most of the new screens you will see from the new Client Cases functionality. There are more help guides available to show you how to use specific features within Client Cases.
