This guide covers copying the public Joy listing link from a service card in the Services directory.
It does not cover viewing or editing the service details. See How to view a service in Case Management and How to add a service to your directory for those tasks.
Find the service card
In the Case Management sidebar, select Services.
Choose the most useful tab: - All added for the shared directory; - My saved for services you have saved; - My organisation's for services added by your organisation.
If needed, enter the service name in Search services... and press Enter.
Find the correct service card and check the service and provider names.
Copy the link
Select Copy link on the service card.
Joy copies the public Joy listing address to your clipboard and shows Link copied with the address underneath.
You can paste the address into an email, message or document. A person who opens it is taken to that service's public Joy listing page.
If there is no Copy link button
Copy link only appears when that service is connected to a migrated Joy Marketplace listing.
A service added locally in Case Management has no Marketplace listing address, so its card does not show Copy link. Adding a service with Add a service does not publish a public listing.
If the service needs a public Marketplace listing, use the route in What to do when a service is not on Joy yet. Case Management cannot create that public listing itself.
If copying fails
If the browser does not allow Joy to write to your clipboard, Joy shows Could not copy link and displays the address underneath.
You can copy the displayed address manually. Check that you are sharing the address for the correct service before sending it.
What the public page contains
The link identifies one public Joy listing. The exact information a person sees is maintained in the Marketplace rather than in the Case Management link button.
Use View on the Case Management card to check the information available to staff, such as Description, Nature of support, Delivery modes, Referral type, Website, Email, Phone, Coverage areas and Web links. The public page may change independently, so open the copied link before relying on its wording.
