The Dashboard summarises activity, outcomes and referrals across your current organisation and lets you examine the figures over a chosen period.
It does not cover creating spreadsheet or CSV files; see How to download a report for that.
Open the Dashboard
Select Dashboard in the sidebar.
The page opens on Caseload with Last 90 days selected.
Move between Caseload, Inbound referrals, Clients, Outcomes, Activity, Appointments, Services, Engagement, Map, Reports and Duplicates.
These are the tabs currently shown in the app. Each tab keeps the same date and filter toolbar at the top.
Choose a date range
Use the time-window list to choose:
This week or Last week;
This month or Last month;
Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 6 months or Last 12 months; or
Custom range.
For Custom range, enter a Start date and End date. The app will not apply the range until both dates are present, the start is not after the end, and the end is not in the future.
The chosen range is shared by the dashboard's activity and outcome views and by reports created from the Download menu. A card can state that it uses another period or is a current snapshot; for example, some charts say Last 12 months, and Current caseload says As of today's date. Map, Reports and Duplicates are worklists or current views rather than period totals. Read the sentence beneath each card title before comparing figures.
Apply filters
Select Filter.
Choose a Time period and any available values under Status, Staff member, Triage, Client needs, Additional needs, GP surgery, Referrer, Ethnicity, Age, Gender and Tags.
Select Apply.
The button then shows the number of selected values, for example Filter (2). Select Reset to return to Last 90 days with no filters, or Close to leave your last applied choices unchanged.
The filters are shared by the main caseload, referral, client, outcome, activity, appointment and service views, and by the Map where relevant. Engagement, Reports and Duplicates have their own scope. If a filter group has no values, it shows No options available.
Read the headline numbers
A large number is the total for the card and the period described immediately beneath its title.
A table below it divides that total by staff member, status, month or another category.
A dash means the value is not available; it is not another way of showing zero.
Select the small information icon beside a heading to see Where this number comes from.
Some current-snapshot cards do not change with the date range. Their information text says so.
Hidden clients or cases can be excluded from identifiable or privacy-sensitive results.
If a card has no activity for the chosen period, it can show a reason such as Not enough data: no service activity in this period. Widen the date range or remove filters before deciding data is missing.
