There are 3 different types of roles that users on Joy will have (see below for what each role can do):

1. User

A person with User permissions can:

  • use all Case management features on Joy

  • only edit their own login details

  • see their own patients records that are waiting to send to the clinical system

2. Admin

A person with Admin permissions can:

  • edit the details of a User and Admin

  • suspend a User, Admin or Owner users

  • delete a User or Admin

  • Add a User or Admin

  • edit organisation details

  • see their own patients records that are waiting to send to the clinical system

3. Owner

A person with Owner permissions can:

  • add, remove, or edit a User and Admin

  • review all of the records in the 'waiting to send/retrieve' list for everyone within their organisation not just their own

  • Can see all of the inboxes of their team in the messages tab by using the name drop-down

  • click the 'retry' button on behalf of their colleagues to send the records back to the clinical system

Please note: when a person with Owner permissions clicks the 'retry' button on the records waiting to be sent, this person's name will appear as the Staff Member using Joy on the patient's clinical record.

You can view peoples roles under their name in the 'My organisation' tab:
