How do I edit my service and referral form on Joy?

This article walks you through how to find, and edit your service and your referral form.

Access Your Service Listing

Method One (from within CMS):

  1. Log in to the Case Management System
    ​

  2. Go to Services in the main menu and select 'My Organization's Services'
    ​

  3. Find the service you want to edit, click 'Get Link' πŸ‘‡, then click 'Open Link' πŸ‘‡ to open it in the Joy Marketplace
    ​

  4. It should now open your listing in a new tab for you! πŸŽ‰


Method Two (From the Marketplace):

  1. Open the Marketplace (https://services.thejoyapp.com/)
    ​

  2. Locate the search bar and type in the name and location of your service, this should bring it up on the marketplace
    ​
    ​If you cannot find your service you should change the tab from 'Selected' to 'All Services' under the second location search bar
    ​

  3. You then simply click on your service
    ​

  4. You should then be able to access your service! πŸŽ‰


Edit Your Service Listing

  1. Once you have opened up your service, on the right, click 'Edit Listing' πŸ‘‡
    ​

  2. Update details ✍️, through typing in the necessary sections, such as:
    Service title, description, website, criteria, categories, waiting list, keywords, location, images, and contact info
    ​

  3. Click 'Post Listing' πŸ‘‡ to submit for approval (approval typically takes 48 hours)

  4. You have now edited your listing! πŸŽ‰


Edit Your Referral Form

  1. In the right menu, select 'Manage Service Referral Form' πŸ‘‡
    ​

  2. Click 'Edit Form' πŸ‘‡ at the top right
    ​

  3. Add or remove fields by checking or unchecking 'Self-Referral' and 'Professional Referral' β˜‘οΈ options (as appropriate)
    ​

  4. Make fields required or optional by toggling the settings
    ​

  5. You have now edited your referral form! πŸŽ‰


Edit Referral Reasons

πŸ’‘ Hint: If you only accept very specific reasons for referral you can avoid improper referrals by deleting inappropriate options. For example, if you are only providing mental health support to bereaved individuals, you may want to remove employment as a reason for referral.

  1. Click 'View Options' πŸ‘‡ to add or remove referral reasons
    ​

  2. De-select unwanted options or add new ones as appropriate by checking or unchecking the boxes β˜‘οΈ
    ​

3. You add custom options by scrolling to the bottom, selecting 'Add Option' πŸ‘‡ and then typing out the custom referral reason you would like to add

4. You have now edited the reasons for a referral! πŸŽ‰


Add Custom Questions

  1. Click 'Add Custom Question' πŸ‘‡
    ​

  2. Enter the question ✍️, select the response type (listed on the dropdown), and choose whether it’s required
    ​

  3. Select the relevant form β˜‘οΈ (Self-Referral or Professional Referral)
    ​

  4. You have now added a custom question! πŸŽ‰


Save and Publish

  1. Click 'Save and publish' βœ… to finalise your updates
    ​

  2. Your service and referral form will be updated after approval (typically 24 hours)
    ​

  3. You have now updated your referral form! πŸŽ‰
