This error likely arises out of an EMIS set up error.

What you will see if this error appears:

✔️ Solution: You can solve it by doing the following actions.

  1. Please select ‘Edit Login details’ 👇

  2. Confirm the following:

    • Username: JOYCONNECT

    • Password: Monday123

  3. Go back to Active Integrations 👇

  4. Click on the 3 dots 👇

  5. Select update connections details 👇

  6. Scroll down and select 'Connect' 👇

  7. If it continues to fail please delete the connection by pressing the 3 dots 👇

  8. Then create a new connection using these details:

    • Name: Your GP surgery name

    • NACS code: Your EMIS code

    • Username: APIUSER

    • Password: Monday123


If you still see this same error after updating your user details, please follow these steps:

  1. Select the EMIS Ball in the top corner

  2. Click on “Configuration” 👇

  3. Click “Organisation Configuration” 👇

  4. Click “Users” 👇

  5. Click on Search 🔍

  6. Search for the Joy

  7. Click the Joy App user (that you created earlier)

  8. Please confirm Joy is assigned as a “Clinical Practitioner Access Role” 👇

  9. Please confirm that this account has the following 5 RBAC codes:

    • B0380 - Perform Detailed Health Record

    • B8029 - Managed Detailed Records

    • B0820 - View Patient Demographics

    • B0370 - View Summary Health Record

    • ESC01 - View System Configuration
